Elite Player Program Description and Purpose
The purpose of the Elite Player Program (EPP) is to promote, identify, develop and give exposure to elite players from the San Joaquin Valley Premier Soccer League.
The EPP is an identification and development program for elite players of the San Joaquin Valley Premier Soccer League. The program will identify and develop a pool of elite players to represent the San Joaquin Valley Premier at regional, state, national and international competitions. The EPP will serve as a means of development as the player selected are brought together for trainings in preparations for high level competitions. The program also seeks to recommend some of the more advanced elite players to the US Club Soccer id2 Player Identification Program, colliegate, professional and national coaches.
Selected players will participate in training sessions and competitions put on by the EPP coaching staff.
All players of the San Joaquin Valley Premier are eligible for consideration into the EPP provided they meet the age requirement for the established age groups. The involvement of players in the EPP is to be taken seriously and players need to be committed to improving their individual skills as well as improving as team players.
